Quality Objectives

0.1 Thomasian Identity

To institute strong quality programs that will form, transform, and sustain the students, faculty, employees, administrators, and other stakeholders into a community of Catholic men and women with a high degree of competence, compassion and commitment to truth as demonstrated in excellent board exam results, civic and ecclesiastical leadership, creative undertaking, and active involvement in the healthy and moral transformation of the society.

0.2 Teaching

To continuously upgrade the quality of instruction through the reduction of the number of student complaints and the increase in the student satisfaction ratings in conducted surveys.

0.3 Research

To improve productivity in quality and quantity of researches by instituting capacity and capability programs

0.4 Community and Extension Services

To increase the number of partner institutions, communities and agencies in order to extend social, religious, medical, educational and research-based services.

0.5 Human Resources

To put in place relevant HRD strategies for purposes of organizational renewal: to identify and nurture talent as well as to bring about marked changes in the mindset of employees at all levels

0.6 Physical Resources

To ensure the availability, cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the physical resources in order to support character formation, learning, research and teaching

0.7 Financial Resources

To eliminate financial losses caused by defective revenue-related and expense-related operations

0.8 Growth and Expansion

To increase the number of recipients under the university’s distance education program and the like

0.9 Public Presence

To increase the number of partners among respectable media institutions and personalities in order to promote relevant advocacies in the renewal of the Church and society in the Philippines and in the Asia Pacific region.

0.10 Information Technology

To reduce downtime in the use of information technology hardware and software

0.11 Leadership and Governance

To provide administrators with regular international operational audit reports as well assessments of the external environment

0.12 Student Welfare

To promote student satisfaction feedback on policies, programs and activities.
