Economics Society
Vision
The UST-Economics Society is geared towards the betterment and development of its members by giving them the primary venue to hone their talents andskills; to aid each member to grow as individuals and as members of a competitive environment by showing the importance of self-respect, prayer and work. The organization aims to imbue and nurture the Thomasian values of its members by encouraging them to participate in search for Veritas. Finally, to establish equal access and opportunity to each member, all these in the name of progress in a Christian community. Mission The UST-Economics Society envisions itself with the capabilities and potentials of its members fully developed. The organization, together with the Economics Department and the College of Commerce and Business Administration, will help foster committed, responsible, well-rounded and self-reliant men and women capable of self-fulfillment; and to share in the growth of the Filipino Community through democratic and participative action as economists.
